These invaders from another dimension (verb)ed everything in the vicinity of the gate, spreading (feeling) throughout the city. The neighbors' technology was different from that of our (noun). Our (noun)s were ineffective. Everyone believed it was only a matter of time before the city was (verb)ed. And then..."
"Mikado City, population: 17. One day, a gate to another peanut butter opened here. "Swan." That's what we eventually called them. These invaders from another dimension tickled everything in the vicinity of the gate, spreading jubilance throughout the city. The neighbors' technology was different from that of our apple. Our swings were ineffective. Everyone believed it was only a matter of time before the city was quaked. And then..."
